Welcome to Dr. Karen Delaney’s Calais, ME dental practice. We look forward to seeing you in our practice soon. We welcome you to complete your new patient forms from the comfort of home and bring them along to your initial appointment. If you haven’t completed these forms prior to visiting us, we’ll be happy to help you complete them before meeting with Dr. Delaney. Once we have your personal, dental, and medical health information up to date, you’ll visit with the doctor. She’ll carefully examine your smile screening for signs of common oral health concerns including tooth decay, gum disease, and oral cancer. Next, patients meet with one of our skilled hygienists who carefully clean the surfaces of teeth. Then, Dr. Delaney returns to consult with patients, answer questions, and develop a treatment plan. Following this consultation, patients meet with the office manager to review their treatment plans.

One part of the treatment planning process is maximizing insurance. We are in-network with many major providers, and we’re happy to process and file insurance claims for any provider. We work with patients to ensure they make the most of their coverage, and we’re happy to assist patients in understanding their benefits.
